How to Deal with Frustration

This blog entry is going to more of a casual one.  One that I would actually think of as a "blog".  What I mean by that is "someone just jotting down their feelings."

Frustration is something that we all deal with in everyday life.  It's how we manage it that matters.  It is definately not an easy task.

How do you even deal with frustration around your kids?  How much is to much information for children, and at what ages?  What is okay for my five year old to hear, but not my fourteen year old?  Should I shield  them from all comflict so that they are practically in a bubble or let them in on how life really works?

All of these questions have entered my mind a million times!  And honestly I don't have all the answers!  I think this is where our own gut instincts come in.  Everyone will have a different opinion on how involved our children should be in our adult situations.  If you are screaming at your ex on the phone, it's probably not a good idea to do so in front of your kids, no matter what age they are. If you are just disagreeing with them about a situation, it may be okay for your kids to see you resolve a conflict in a civil way.

I still mess up on this sometimes, but with years of practice I have definately improved.  When you find yourself getting to "that point".  Breathe.  Listen to your breath.  Is it really that bad?  You can take it from there!
